"What the bleep do we know?"

G'day ya'll. I went to a movie at the Dendy @ Newtown with Steve on Sat. night called What the bleep do we know? It was about how a basic knowledge of Quantum Mechanics & neurophysiology can inform our world view. It's pretty much exactly where my headspace was about a year before I became a Christian & I'm still in agreement with 99.5% of what they were on about. It made an excellent jumping off point for discussion about life, the universe & everything, & I would love to see it with pretty well every friend I have with time for discussion afterwards. I can see I'll probably be seeing it a couple of times with different friends.

It's not for everyone, I saw half a dozen people walk out, which is by far the most people I've ever seen walk out of a movie, & being squashed right over to one side as the theatre was full I mightn't have seen everyone who did leave do so. But the theatre booked out & we were at a later session than the one we wanted to go to because that one was full when we got there.

In their press kit they have a discussion of 'cultural creatives,' the group in society that the film is aimed at. After reading through it I found another box to put myself in & label to attach. This means I am a Generation X Evangelical Baptecostal Charismatic Christian Cyberhippie Left Wing Cultural Creative (although left wing is usually included in cyberhippie & cultural creative)!
